The New York Times has just published its 52 places to visit in 2015 list, from chilly Canada to the deepest depths of the Asian continent.

As at TARIFA and COMPANY we are constantly thinking about putting our swimsuits on, we have selected a few destinations from the list where you will be able to enjoy the sun, warm temperatures, and above all, a refreshing swim in the sea.

PAPUA, NEW GUINEA. One of the most remote corners of the Pacific, where you will find virgin beaches with crystal waters, free of tourists. If you enjoy diving, don’t miss the chance to dive into some of the best preserved reefs in the world.

ST. VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES. On the Lesser Antilles of the Caribbean, we find this marvelous island. This place breathes calm and tranquility, and invites you to immerge into its water to swim or snorkel.

SRI LANKA. This is a popular destination, and as the NYT mentions, and a new generation of hotels is planning to open this year to offer luxury and creativity in its accommodations. Rooms with views over the Indian Ocean, infinity pools or yoga studios on the treetops, will make your stay a memorable one.

CUBA. This Caribbean jewel is a place of particular interest for those interested in seeing the socialist regime still in operation, with miles of island still awaiting development and splendorous coasts.

Set your destinations for 2015, and above all, don’t forget your TARIFAs. It’s always summer somewhere!
