Continuing our tour visiting beach bars around the world, we continue at Tarifa and today we introduce you to Tangana, a perfect place to relax and enjoy a sunny day in this side of the world.

Historically known simply as “el chiringuito” (the beach bar), this bar is right off the sand in Valdevaqueros Beach, and is quite possibly the oldest in Tarifa, with a 20-year history. However since 2001, you will find Inés, a madrilian born in Malaga and Christophe, a frenchman from the Alps, there.

All around its garden, as among its hammocks and beds, the place has a family-oriented and sporty vibe inviting its visitors de relax and enjoy and calm moment after a long day of sun and water sports.

In its menu you will find light and fresh food, not overly complex, to continue enjoying your day at the beach. The most original is it salad bar, where you will be able to make your own salad, choosing among dozens of fresh products, toppings and seasonings.

Mid-afternoon, you will be able to enjoy live music and as sunset, refresh with their wide selection of natural, freshly-squeezed juices or cocktails.

Right next to the beach bar, you will find Conchinchina, a small store filled with french brands that is housed in a former wagon train.

Beyond the bar and the store, Tangana also hosts a small development with 11 bungalows just a few steps from the beach, ideal for windsurf and kitesurf lovers.
